Art on the Vine

art. community. connection.

ParksPR helped introduce Art on the Vine to new audiences through strategic messaging and media relations for its inaugural exhibition on Martha’s Vineyard. Our work focused on building awareness and communicating the event’s unique combination of contemporary art, culture, and community.

the background

Art on the Vine was an initiative of The Agora Culture, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating audiences and showcasing diverse contemporary artists.

The inaugural exhibition brought together multicultural artists, artwork available for purchase, educational panels, and opportunities for collectors and art enthusiasts to connect during a four-to-six-week residency program on Martha’s Vineyard.

“Bringing an inaugural art exhibition into the spotlight.”

the results

ParksPR worked with the Art on the Vine team to develop brand messaging and generate publicity for the inaugural exhibition. We also provided media coaching and interview preparation to guide representatives in effectively communicating the exhibition’s mission and goals.

Working alongside the event’s marketing team, ParksPR helped develop the tagline:

Discover. Cultivate. Grow.

The messaging reinforced the exhibition’s mission and introduced its concept to potential attendees.

Our media relations efforts generated pre- and post-event coverage, including stories and interviews in Martha’s Vineyard Gazette, Martha’s Vineyard Times, HuffPost, Art Fix Daily, and other outlets.

ParksPR also provided publicity support as Art on the Vine expanded its programming, including announcements introducing its inaugural artist-in-residence in 2017 and the Savage-Lewis Residency in 2018.
